Salim is a researcher and sociologist, working at the Institute for Palestine Studies. He is author of numerous books and research papers on urban culture, political sociology and social history. In his interview, Tamari laid down the general framework for economic, social and economic life and the changes that occurred in the Palestinian civil and rural society at the end of the Ottoman period and the Mandate period.
