Qalandia Guest Houses

Qalandia guest houses (Madafat) were places to stay overnight for travelers. The guesthouses have spread in Palestinian villages and cities, so that travelers avoid traveling during the night. The guesthouses were built by the prominent families in the village or the city city. There were three guesthouses in Qalandia, Dar Hussein guesthouse, Dar Awad Allah guesthouse, al-Shami guesthouse.
